Give the Kansas City Chiefs credit for going out with a bang. On their final injury report of the season, they listed 18 players, including 10 that are either out, doubtful or questionable.
Special teamer Terrance Copper has been ruled out, while defensive end Tyson Jackson, who had an impressive outing last time out against Peyton Manning, is listed as doubtful.
Among the questionable Chiefs are starters Branden Albert, Tamba Hali, Kendrick Lewis, Dexter McCluster and Tony Moeaki. All but Moeaki were unable to practice and would obviously hurt Romeo Crennel’s chances at winning his likely final game as a head coach if they are unable to go.
The Denver Broncos are the team with something to play for on Sunday and have a lengthy injury report of their own. Most weeks their 11 players would seem significant, but compared to the Chiefs insane report it seems like nothing.
